a huge part of “ racing country,” so the Hot Nights, Cool Rides
event in August each year is a big attraction. During the event, hundreds
fill the streets of downtown Forest City to catch a glimpse of the participating
autos. Forest City is also home to Houston Texans owner Bob McNair.
Not only has Mr. McNair created a stir for NFL football in the area,
but he has also brought quality baseball and a brand new stadium to
the area. The Forest City Owls began play in 2008 and from May thru
August each summer will demonstrate a high level of competitive play
